Community Land Trusts: a solution for the housing crisis? Keynote presentation by Brenda Torpy, Leuven

On June 4th at 8pm, Brenda Torpy, director of the Champlain Housing Trust Burlington (US), will give a keynote presentation in Leuven. The presentation will be followed by a panel moderated by Dirk Holemans (Oikos) involving different actors in the field of housing.

Panel (Dutch): Dirk Holemans (Oikos ) invites Lies Corneillie (deputy mayor responsible for housing city of Leuven), Anne Malliet (Flemish Government Architect), Bruno Iserbyt (financieel coordinator CLT Gent) and Brenda Torpy (Champlain Housing Trust) to discuss the feasibility of launching a Community Land Trust in Leuven.

This event is co-organised by Community Land Trust Brussels, city of Leuven, Oikos, Platform CLT Vlaanderen & Cosmopolis, in the framework of the feasibility study CLTB is currently conducting on the set-up of a Community Land Trust in Leuven.
