Présentation

A subsidy from the Brussels Region has allowed the purchase of land located at 413-417 Chaussée d’Anvers in Brussels, under the framework of the ‘Masui’ Sustainable Neighborhood Contract. This project plans for the construction of 14 housing units.

In addition to the apartments, the project also includes a Brussels Environment park warden office at the back of the site, which is adjacent to the future Senne Park. The construction of the park warden’s office is entirely funded by Bruxelles Environnement.

Bruxelles Environnement was looking for a place to set up its park warden branch for the new park being developed on the former site of the Senne, and CLTB was looking for synergies with the neighbourhood. The potential presented by integrating the office in the project was obvious. The back of the site, which is not very suitable for housing, but which is adjacent to the vegetable gardens of the park, was ideal.

The multi-purpose room of the office will be used jointly by patrons of the park for activities organised by the park wardens and the CLTB residents.
